Veteran's Day

Our class has been studying the Iraq War. We created a nice board to thank our Veterans. Remember, no school on Wednesday!

Pizza Party!

Friday is our Halloween Pizza party! Students are allowed to bring in additional treats!
Fall Faestival is also Friday 5pm to 9pm. come out and support our school.
Please make sure costumes are appropriate for school.

Folktales

Parents,
This week we worked on Folktales from Asia. We also learned about American Folktales such John Henry. In Language, the students worked on paraphrasing. Ask your child to paraphrase one of the many Folktales from this weeks leeson!

Baseball Fever

This week we read the biography of Roberto Clemente. The kids really took to the story. Please ask them to share details with you!

Book Reports

Book Reports are off and running! All students have been assigned a person and given the chance to go to the school library. The reports are due October 1st. No exceptions. I can't wait to see what they come up with for the posters.
